We know health care in the United States is complex, hard to navigate and doesn’t always work the way it should. But, there IS good news- the industry is constantly transforming and rethinking how to deliver care and support to meet all people where they’re at.

When it comes to your health, everything is connected. And, taking better care of it needs to go beyond just the physical to include your mental, emotional, social and spiritual health.

From 2022-2023, I was fortunate to lead content creation and marketing for “Until It’s Fixed,” a podcast from Optum. Alongside the show hosts, I drove deep discussions with thought leaders and advocates working to solve the health industry’s biggest challenges — as well as real people who navigate these issues every day. Together, we uncovered opportunities to make care work better for everyone — including talking more openly about the role that things like gender, sexual orientation, race and income play in caring for your health.
